500 lives changed in 2017

We are awed by what you did for Middle Tennessee girls in the past year.

We can’t believe what you did for Middle Tennessee girls in the past year.

Your support allowed Girls to the Moon to plan bigger events, provide more scholarships, give back to the mentors who offered their time to us, and so much more.

It was our most impactful year yet, and we couldn’t have done it without the support of our community. Take a look at all that you empowered us to accomplish in 2017:

Members: Our staunchest supporters opened their pocket books to help more girls than ever attend our events and access our content.

Event Attendees: Girls ages 10-14 and their caregivers – moms, aunts, big sisters and Big Sisters, teachers, counselors and trusted advisors – attended our events in 2017.

Sponsors: Local business and corporate sponsors donated money, products, services and employee hours.

Scholarships Offered: Because of the generosity of members and sponsors, we were able to offer 85 full event scholarships this year.

Volunteers: Our work is the result of dozens of dedicated women and men who give of their time and talent.

Social Media Followers: Friends and fans on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Twitter helped spread the word about interesting ideas and exciting events conducted by awesome groups and individuals all over Nashville and beyond!

Blog Posts: We published more content than ever before, thanks to contributing writers and the dedication of our volunteers and speakers.

Website Visitors: We reached more girls and caregivers than ever before with digital content on our website.

Period Packs Mailed: We partnered with Days for Girls to create reusable period packs for girls in developing parts of the world.

Newsletters Emailed: We distributed our “Worthy Things” newsletter and our monthly Members Journal, celebrating the best of girl-powered awesomeness each month.

In 2018, we’re doing even more to build confident girls:

  • A new Spotlight Series including a private movie screening, a boxing lesson, and a entrepreneurial brainstorm.
  • A bigger-than-ever annual campference event focused on health and wellness, relationships, and creativity and innovation.
  • An audacious goal to provide 150 scholarships to girls and caregivers who couldn’t otherwise attend our events.

More fun. More hand-raising. More just-try-it. More yes-I-can. Thanks for helping us make more happen.
