
Kelly Holley-Bockelmann
Session: Exploring Space with an Astrophysicist
Kelly is an Assistant Professor in Physics and Astronomy at Vanderbilt University. Her main interests are in computational galaxy dynamics, black holes, and gravitational waves. She is passionate about broadening the participation of women, minorities, and first-generation college students in physics and astronomy.

Karla Chavez
Karla Chavez was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, and immigrated to Nashville at the age of 5. College seemed impossible for Karla, but thanks to the community, family and friends, Karla now holds an A.S. degree from Volunteer State Community College and a B.A. degree in Public Relations from Lipscomb University.

Mignon François
Mignon is the owner of The Cupcake Collection, which has been named “Best Bakery”, “Best Cupcake”, “Best Dessert Food Truck” and “Best Roving Food Truck in Nashville.” She has won the Nashville Business Journal’s “Business Woman of the Year” award and “Woman of Legend and Merit” by Tennessee State University.

Jessica Harthcock
Jessica is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Utilize Health, a care coordination service for patients with complex medical conditions. Jessica is a formerly paralyzed athlete who started Utilize Health after graduating from Vanderbilt with her masters in organizational leadership.

Vali Forrister and Act Like a Grrrl
Vali founded Act Like a GRRRL, an autobiographical writing program for girls that offers the space and support for young women to gain a public voice and foster friendships with peers from diverse backgrounds.

Ashley Northington
Session: The Secret Digital Life of Girls
Ashley is a communications professional and entrepreneur. She is the founder of DENOR Brands & Public Relations and LiveYourBrand. She is passionate about merging traditional and digital communication tools to help brands boost their visibility and income through engaging storytelling, compelling visuals, and intentional action.

Cynthia Harris
Cynthia is a community health educator, playwright and the founder of Healing Waters Productions, which merges public health with the creative arts to liberate the voices, bodies and spirits of all women.

Dr. Kristin Rager
Session: Taking the Freakiness Out of Puberty
Dr. Kristin is the owner of Rager Adolescent Health in Nashville. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Vanderbilt University and her medical degree from University of Louisville School of Medicine. She loves empowering young people to make wise decisions and taking away the ‘taboo’ of sexuality and our bodies.

Kathryn Taylor
Session: Love is a Battlefield
Kathryn Taylor, M.A. LPC/MHSP is a licensed professional counselor who helps women and teens reach their brightest goals. Kathryn spent the last several years providing crisis counseling for domestic violence survivors with Metro Nashville Police, leading parenting classes, coaching, and offering family-oriented addiction treatment before founding her own private practice this year.

Dianne Bradley
Dianne is a family therapist whose goal is to provide an environment of privacy and safety. She formed and advises a group for adolescent girls to help them develop and grow interpersonally and intrapersonally.

Amy Lee Bennett
Session: Tiny Computer Projects
Amy Lee loves using her creativity to problem solve and build software that positively benefits the world. When not writing code, she enjoys exploring new places, reading and being outdoors.

Renee Burwell
Renee is a social worker and therapist specializing in relationships and sexuality. Her goal is to empower relationships and individuals through greater understanding of the role mental and sexual health play in individual identity.

Mila Grigg
Mila is the founder of MODA Image and Brand Consulting, an image, fashion and brand consulting company that helps individuals communicate their personal and professional brand. She has worked with athletes, entertainers, professionals and businesses in the area of brand and marketing.
